Let’s be real—safety gear is important… but for a lot of kids it’s basically:
- Stiff
- Hot
- Hard to put on
- And somehow always ends up as “dad/mom, can you do it?”
Therefore, how might we design toys to encourage preschoolers (ages 3–5) to wear protective gear?
After a bunch of exploring + ideating, I landed on the idea of a lightweight EVA foam accessory set that kids can attach to their existing safety gear—making it feel more personal, fun, and doable without extra help.
