Cole is an aspiring footwear designer. As a sneakerhead himself, he loves everything within the world of shoe design. He has spent the past four years at the University of Minnesota refining his passion for sketching, form development, and rendering. Cole’s project experience spans footwear, outdoor goods, and sporting equipment, allowing him to explore a range of active industries. Cole will be spending his summer in the greater Boston area working as a Footwear Design Intern with FootJoy!

1. The Kon 1s are a signature basketball shoe concept for Kon Knueppel, one of the biggest rising stars in the NBA today. I completed this for my senior capstone project. The biggest highlight was learning blender and 3D printing each shoe part for a physical model.

2. ARC shoes were created as a modern take on retro basketball shoes. This was my first time ever creating a physical shoe, and I had a blast learning the process along the way! The shoe is made of leather with a rubber outsole.

3. The Lanturn coffee maker is a portable coffee machine designed specifically for campers and people who love the outdoors. The pour-over / drip method works perfectly for those on the go!

4. The On Cloud golf shoe concept is perfect for the daily golfer. With features such as a lateral & medial support strap, as well as midsoles featuring ‘On’ performance cloud foam, users will feel contained and comfortable on the course.
